joy.  Thus the bright color and encouraging words, ramblings, thoughts, info, and links to things
that are just blissful.  Besides, it's my website and I can say what I want (smile).

I want to share anything JOY that makes you smile - things like feeding birds and watching them
daintily eat like little pigs – or those tiny bright yellow birds that only show up for the first 2
weeks in Spring then disappear until next year - the joy of watching kids snow sled for the first
time in their lives - or buying that very first motorcycle - finding the best tasting chocolate in the
world - sitting and contemplating the glow and shimmer of a candle in a beautiful candle holder -
doing nothing for 30 minutes.  How about perfect seashells?  Collections of snowmen?  Finding
things to drive your husband crazy?  With a great outlook, anything can be overcome and turned
around.

Find your place of JOY!
Once upon a time, there was a engineering tech.  She worked very hard at her
training in the nuclear industry.  But alas!  It simply was not enough for her.  She
wanted more - she wanted to WRITE!  

Even back then, she would send off rambles to her friends.  She told fractured
fairy tales long before they were a television show.  Think about it: what sort of
woman allows a man to climb up her hair just so he can take her away to clean
his castle and cook for his minions?

Life is to be enjoyed.  Life is to be full of laughter and fun.  Sometimes it is far
too serious so we just need a break away from it all.  That is why this site exists -
to give you a few minutes to enjoy.  Catch your breath and smile.

The motto is this:  Life is too short so enJOY it!

Function: noun (like we really care about that)

2 : a source or cause of delight

It is my desire these pages be a source or cause of delight.  
There's nothing "deep" here, just lighthearted and clean.

Because one meaning of the word Café is "snack bar" and in this
hurried world, we need two things - to receive something quickly
but also to take the time to enJOY it!  

So when you don't have time for a full meal - stop by this Joy Café,
spend a few minutes snacking, and remind yourself that taking a
few moments each day to focus on JOY is vital and necessary in
the times we live in!
